Felix’s BBQ With Soul is branching out into new frontiers of cuisine! Working together with two members of our catering team, we’ve created a new menu that we’re calling Felix’s Casa. This is a menu of Mexican food in Carlsbad and is available for take-out by phone or online.
Our goal in creating this menu was to provide our patrons with high-quality Mexican food that is reasonably priced and an exceptional value. We hope that you’ll enjoy this new menu just as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it!
Meet the Felix’s Casa Chefs
You can expect the same delicious and high-quality food from Felix’s Casa that you’ve come to expect from Felix’s BBQ With Soul. To help you better understand how we made sure that this menu was authentic and created with care by chefs who know Mexican food just as well as Felix knows BBQ and soul food, we want to introduce you to our wonderful chefs.
The recipes for the Mexican food on the Felix’s Casa menu were created by two of our great chefs, Lili Mendoza and Karla Coleman. Lili grew up in Aguascalientes, Mexico, with her Abuelita (grandmother) who taught her everything she now knows about traditional Mexican dishes, which she cooked for her family. Karla is from Loma Bonita in Oaxaca, Mexico, where her mother provided her with the knowledge and love she now has for traditional Mexican food.
Both Karla and Lili have been with Felix’s BBQ With Soul since July 2021, when they started as prep cooks and catering staff. They are excited to channel their passion for cooking and love of the food they have been enjoying their whole lives to create and present our authentic Mexican menu.

The Felix’s Casa Menu
Now we’ll take a look at just a few of the many options available from Felix’s Casa.
The Carne Asada Burrito served with guacamole and Pico de Gallo. 
Fajitas served with rice, beans, salsa, and tortillas for a filling and delicious meal. 
Chicken Enchiladas, either red or green, and served with rice, beans, salsa, and tortillas. 
Chile Relleno served with rice, beans, salsa, and tortillas. 
We also have refreshing drinks including Horchata, Jamaica, and Tamarindo. 
In addition to these options, we also have a menu of traditional Mexican breakfast options like the Chorizo Burrito, Machaca, Chilaquiles, Huevos Rancheros, and omelettes. Visit the Felix’s Casa website to see our full menu.
